So who's going to go to Best Buy on Tuesday morning and then bring me a copy at the bookstore?

I can go to best buy but I have no idea where to find you. I would be willing to pick up a couple, and bring them to those who want them, those that can pay, you can pay right? ;D

Argh - memory failure - is the Best Buy by IKEA open yet, does anybody know?  After that...oh, that's right, there is one nearer me than that.  Yes, most definitely en route to the Mission.  With my Best Buy Rewards card in hand.  I talked one of my SCA friends into going out and buying this last night, so maybe I'll see if he can meet us there.

And I was surprised very nicely when our amazon orders (oops, we both ordered from them) both showed up today!!  Didn't think they would arrive on release date.

It was open before IKEA opened.

I picked one up at Best Buy in Bakersfield, CA this morning (tuesday, though it's now after midnight.)  Still haven't had a chance to open it yet.

Mine is still on its ways from Amazon.  But I did see two commercials for it last night and I only watched about an hour of tv.  Considering I only saw one commercial for Serenity when it was released I'd say that was pretty good.

I'm getting peeved. My order from Amazon still says "Carrier notified to pick up package", which is what it's been saying since Monday. There's no indication that it's been picked up yet. Usually I enjoy tracking it going from Reno to Portland to my house. Had I known about the Best Buy deal before ordered, I would have just done that. Grrr. Has anyone gotten the Best Buy comic yet, and can tell the rest of us what it actually is?

Got ours, although failed the roll to bring it the Mission.  My bad.  Scott's bad, actually, since he was the one supposed to pick up the bag on the way out the door.

I probably won't even get to open it until tomorrow - tickets for Josh Groban at the Rose Garden tonight, 2 nights out late and brutal workday tomorrow = set temptation aside for tonight and roll into bed when we get in.

Mike mentioned, last night at the Mission, that the comic is some sort of reprinting of the first installment of Serenity: Those Left Behind.

Agreed. That was quite a nice surprise when I got back from F@tM.
Far beyond the dark stream pagan souls will roam those cold lands wild and free. Wait for the sign; a blood red sky. Then beyond the dark stream, we will ride.

I just picked up the last copy that Fred Meyers on Imbrie and Cornelius Pass Road (Hillsboro) had. It seems to have been a popular seller there.
